One of our little boys had the fantastic idea of digging for treasure in our sand tray. We added telescopes and magnifying glasses to make us in to real pirates and help with our search.

After we had collected some treasure we laid it out to inspect it with the magnifying glass. We even did some counting.

Museum of Liverpool

What a fantastic afternoon at the Museum of Liverpool. We took a bus journey in to the city centre and walked to the museum. We got to explore the ‘Little Liverpool’ area which had lots of fun and interesting things to explore like keys and locks and sailing boats in the water way. Later we got to explore an old train and a model of the tracks, roads and tunnels in Liverpool. It was a very tiring day!

Forest School Friend

We had a visitor to our Forest School today, a little mouse. We watched him run around and tried to think about what he might eat. Ali guessed “stick” and Jacob said “a flower”. We tried lots of different things although what he liked the most was cheese and a tiny piece of bread!

What could it be?

Today we had a strange object hiding under the material. We tried to guess what it was, we thought it might be a football. When it was revealed we saw it was a pumpkin. The pumpkin was very interesting, we touched it, smelt it and we decided it was orange. When one little boy picked it up he told everyone “it’s heavy!”. I wonder what we will do next with our pumpkin?
